Remove Sticky Adhesive Residues |

A simple, cheap and easy way to remove stubborn sticky adhesive residues after removing paper stickers or price tags is to use a rubber eraser to rub over it. |

To remove candle wax from carpet, first scrape away any excess. Then, place a piece of unwanted cloth over the wax and run a warm iron over the cloth a few times. The heat will melt the wax and the cloth absorbs it. Repeat the process a few times using the fresh sections of the cloth over the wax. |

Scratches on Glass and Crystal |

Scratches on window glass and crystal can be removed or lightened by using non-gel toothpaste. Gel-type toothpaste is not as effective as non-gel type. Rub a little non-gel toothpaste in the direction of the scratch and gently polish it with a soft cloth. This technique will only work on hairline or very light scratches. If you can feel the scratches with your fingernail, then those are probably too deep to remove. |

To prevent nuts, bolts, and screws from getting lost while you're working, place them in a small container or prepare a masking tape, long enough for all those small items and place them on the tape. |
