To remove the mineral deposits from kettle, fill kettle with water, add 1 tablespoon of baking soda and a few slices of lemon. Boil the water. After boiling, let the water cools down to room temperature. Wash and rinse the kettle. Baking soda is also known as bicarbonate of soda. |

To get rid of fresh paint odor from a room, place a bowl of vinegar or a bowl of water filled with a handful of chopped onion in the center of the room. Leave it there for a few fours or a day. This is a simple, inexpensive and effective method. |

Remove Permanent Marker Ink from Whiteboard |

If permanent marker is accidentally used on the whiteboard, there are ways to remove it. One way is to wipe the ink off using tissue, cloth or facial cotton with a little nail polish remover. Another option is to wait till the ink dries. Then just write directly over the permanent ink stain with whiteboard marker. Then use tissue, cloth or whiteboard eraser to wipe it off. |
