Are snails creating problem in your garden? There are a few methods to solve this problem :

- Most primitive way is to hand-pick regularly. Time consuming and need a lot of effort.

- Create barriers around plants. Sprinkle some lime, white flour, sawdust, wood ashes or crushed eggshells around the plants. These barriers, however, need to be replaced regularly, especially when they are wet.

- Beer traps. Fill shallow pans or containers with beer. Place them within the problem area. Leave them overnight. The snails are attracted to the beer. On the next day, remove the drunk and dead snails in and around the beer containers. Change beer regularly to be effective.
