To remove the mineral deposits from kettle, fill kettle with water, add 1 tablespoon of baking soda and a few slices of lemon. Boil the water. After boiling, let the water cools down to room temperature. Wash and rinse the kettle. Baking soda is also known as bicarbonate of soda.
