A way to tell if the egg is raw or hard-boiled is by spinning it. Hard-boiled egg spins easily. Raw egg doesn't spin well and wobbles. Another tip is to spin the egg harder, as to make the egg spins faster. If the egg stands up, it is hard-boiled. Just be careful, don't spin the egg from table to floor, however, if it drops to the floor and breaks and spills, it is certainly raw!!
