Hammerring Small Nail

When your fingers are too big to hold a small nail when hammerring, try to get a fork or a small comb to hold the nail.

 

Opening Jar Lids or Bottle Caps Easily

If you have a problem opening jars or bottles, try some of the following methods:

- Try using latex dishwashing gloves or rubber computer mouse pad as they give a non-slip grip to the jar lid or bottle cap, or 

- Tie some rubber bands around the lid or cap, then cover a cloth over it and turn, or

- Turn the jar or bottle horizontally, carefully run some warm water over the lid or cap. The heat of the water will expand the lid or cap.

 

Refrigerator

- Do not overload the refrigerator.

- Keep refrigerator away from direct sunlight or any other heat sources.

- Frequent opening of the refrigerator will cause it to use more energy to maintain the coolness. Hence, do not open refrigerator unnecessary.

- Do not place hot food in the refrigerator. Let the hot foods cool down to room temperature before placing them in the refrigerator.
